Come over to our side! While the majority of visitors to Rocky Mountain National Park start at the town of Estes because it is closer to the more populated front range, the west side, where we are located, is far less crowded and just as beautiful! In winter, when Trail Ridge Road is closed to traffic at higher elevations, the Park is still open. There are many, many trails to hike, snowshoe and enjoy, summer and winter. Ranger led hikes/snowshoe/nordic ski trips are available throughout the year. Our horseback rides go into Rocky Mountain National Park along the Colorado River. An experience you won’t forget!

Throughout its 416 square miles of rock-ribbed wildness, Rocky Mountain National Park truly is a land of superlatives. Here at least 60 mountains exceed 12,000 feet, topping off at 14,259 feet on the football field-sized summit of Longs Peak. Names such as Cirrus, Chiefs Head, Isolation, Mummy, and Storm evoke the grandeur of this high landscape.
